Cyclohexanone is used as an industrial solvent and paint remover. It acts as a precursor to nylon 6,6 and nylon 6 and cyclohexanone oxime, which gives caprolactam on rearrangement. Further, it is used as a chemical reaction medium, adhesives, sealants and agricultural products.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Rinse mouth. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. In case of fire: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant
